This 19th-century villa in the neighborhood of Mount Victoria, has become a lovely adults-only completely smoke free bed and breakfast , just a stroll down to Courtney place and the city, and about fifteen minutes to Te Papa Museum or a five minute walk to the Basin Reserve. This recently restored villa features plaster crown moldings and ceilings, the eleven modest rooms are individually furnished. All have en suite bathrooms, plus radio alarms, hair dryers and local papers delivered daily. We also offer free wifi throughout and free laundry. We loan guests council permits to put in the cars at no charge. Continental breakfast is served in a formal dining room between 7 and 9 am and there's a communal kitchen for guests use. Other amenities include a guest computer conveniently set up in the dining room where you can also help yourself to a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate whenever you so desire. We also have laundry facilities and a plush lounge with a TV at guests convenience your home away from home.

Situated at the base of Mt Victoria with just a fourty minute walk to the look out , And only a 10 to 15 minute walk to Massey University, walking past the Basin reserve on the way,
and with only a 8 minute walk to Courtney place then onto Tepapa museum which is about a 15 minute walk from the house

Pros: Close proximity to what I needed. Quiet. Ten minutes walk to Courtney Place & 15 mins to Te Papa.
Cons: TV and/or radio in rooms would be good.
Location: Basin Reserve Cricket Ground, Te Papa, Courtney Place, next to the bus route to Wellington airport.
Found the owner was really friendly and accommodating. I felt welcome.
